This is a Kansas News and Opinion Blog. It will have a progressive bent, but not so Liberal that I will function as an apologist for the likes of Ted Kennedy. Everyone is fair game, but my bias is that Kansas Republicans are inherently more funny than most politicians.
The blog host has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed professional journals, but he strives to not take himself too seriously. He is married, has shared custody of his 13 year-old son and 11 year-old daughter. I love my wife. I am an unaffiliated voter. I declare as a Republican on the primary election day, so I can vote against Susan Wagle. I send her e-mails and she usually sends some back - I don't think you could say we have much of a mutual admiration society.
